Description
The CFS10 Mass Flowtubes combines with a CFT51 Coriolis Mass Flow Transmitter to form a Coriolis Mass Flow and Density Meter. The principle of Coriolis acceleration is used which allows true mass flow rate measurements of fluids to be made directly, without the need for external temperature, pressure, or specific gravity measurements. The direct measurement of mass eliminates the inaccuracies of multiple process measurements associated with volumetric flow devices are eliminated.
The Model CFS10 is a single path mass flowtube that uses two serial-connected, large bore tube loops positioned side by side. Fluid entering the flowtube is channeled first through one loop, through a rigid center body, and then through the second loop.
CFS10 is available in sizes 1/8” to 2” / DN3 to DN50
Benefits
Highly accurate mass, density and temperature measurement
Unprecedented, precise liquid/gas flow measurement without skips or stalls
Fast startup — up to 10 times faster than conventional Coriolis meters
Serial path designs and self-draining orientation guarantee positive cleaning
Dual-phase performance, elimination loss due to end-of-batch waste (or “shrink”)
Applications
Power, Chemical, Oil&Gas, Food&Beverage (3-A certified)
NTEP and Industry Canada certified for custody transfer
Fastest response time, ideal for fast batching and filling
Start and finish empty tubes conditions for tank loading and unloading
Concentration with % solids measurements
