Nuclear level measurement

Nuclear level measurement technology has been applied effectively to measure liquids and solids for more than 30 years. the basic method of measuring the nuclear level is the sending of radiation through the liquid and the intensity of the transferred radiation is measured using a detector. The detector measures the level of energy that reaches it and sends a signal proportional to the microprocessor. Measuring the nuclear level requires the following components:

  • A source of gamma rays;
  • A continuous gamma detector;
  • A microprocessor.

Nuclear level measurement technology is a safe and effective contactless method for measuring liquids and solids in challenging process environments. Apps include:

  • Continuous Level Interface Level/Density Continuous Weight Measurement Deyen Level, Mass Flow.
  • Technological benefits of measuring the flow of nuclear mass; Contactless type material.
  • Contactless measurement solutions for the most challenging environments are installed outside the tank.
  • detects both the liquid and the solid level.
  • Can withstand high temperature and pressure.
  • Measures the level in applications involving fog, foams and intense vapors.

CTH provides the process control industry with state-of-the-art Ronan nuclear measurement systems that provide a safe, efficient and contactless method for measuring liquids or solids in challenging process environments. Each Ronan system is designed to deliver outstanding performance in a wide range of challenging applications and process environments. the entire system installs itself outside the ship or hose and can be installed and maintained while the process is running without downtime, modifications of the vessel, risk of accidental discharge, or the need for materials to the specialized construction.
