Description
The Accutech VC10 is a fully integrated pneumatic valve controller with integrated latching solenoid. The unit is designed to work autonomously for up to 50,000 cycles on a single battery which equates to many years of maintenance free operation depending on the application. An integrated pressure sensor is used downstream of the solenoid to provide feedback on valve pressure conditions. The unit also includes two discreet inputs, one which can be used as a counter and the other for verification of valve position.
The product is rated for Class I Div1 hazardous environments and is thus ideally suited for oil and gas installations or may be used to wirelessly control pneumatic valves in any hard to reach industrial application.

Applications
While the VC10 can be used in any hard to reach application where pneumatic valve control is required it is ideally suited for application on gas production wellheads. Specifically, in addition to the valve control and pressure monitoring features, the VC10’s digital input can be used as a counter for plunger lift monitoring. In fact when the VC10 is combined with GP10 gauge pressure units the result is an entire battery-powered wireless wellhead with complete monitoring and control of all processes, all with Class I, Div 1 hazardous certification.
