Description
Description
Foxboro electrodeless conductivity sensors are available in many different form factors, materials and sizes to provide application compatibility with virtually any process solution. Insertion/submersion sensor types include the 871EC, EP307B and EP307G. Materials range from PEEK to Teflon to glass and beyond. Flow-through types include the 871FT, EP402 and FT10. These can be selected based on the line size required, as well as compatible materials of construction. These families of Foxboro sensors are suitable for on-line, continuous measurement of conductivity in a wide variety of industrial processes. Patented technology and extensive materials selection ensures optimum conductivity measurement solutions in industrial and sanitary applications.
Benefits
Broadest range of materials, sizes and geometries to meet all applications
Full range capability — from single digit uS/cm to 2000 mS/cm
Resistant to effects of fouling
PEEK body 871EC sensors do not rely on mechanical seals to protect sensor internals form process ingress. The industry””s most robust electrodeless sensors.
Patented calibration tool enables fast, accurate calibration
Safest solution (871FT) for measuring dangerous chemicals due to in-line calibration capability
In-line calibration also precludes requirement to revalidate the process
3-A compliant and EHEDG certified (871FT) for sanitary applications in food and beverage
24/7 expert technical and application support
Applications
Measurements of acids. Sulfuric, hydrochloric, nitric, others.
Measurement of bases. Sodium hydroxide, ammonium hydroxide, others.
Measurement of salts. Sodium chloride, calcium chloride, others.
Interface detection
Pulp and paper brown stock washing, white liquor strength, digestor alkali, black liquor spill dectection
Food and beverage Clean-in-Place conductivity, brrine concentration, salt content, caustic peelers, bottled water conductivity, juice, yogurt, cheese
